DECARLO BROWN
LAW CLERK

DeCarlo is a Michigan native from Detroit. He grew up in Farmington Hills. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. He is currently a 2L at Michigan State University College of Law. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a paralegal at a consumer rights firm. While working at the firm, he learned the difficulties people face in the consumer rights space. His experience at the firm led him to work at a legal aid clinic last summer after his 1L year. He really enjoyed working with people in a service oriented firm. At the legal clinic, he was able to meet with clients, work on novel consumer issues, attend court with clients and make a substantial impact in the lives of people that need legal assistance the most. All of his experience led him to AW Law. The firm values and embodies a lot of the values he believes in: service, equality and justice. He is excited to help make a tangible impact in the education field. Outside of work he enjoys working out, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
