Jalikatu Kargbo

Intake Coordinator

Jalikatu Kargbo is AW's Intake Coordinator. She is often the first point of contact for prospective clients. She is responsible for speaking with individuals seeking legal assistance, gathering case information, and helping ensure each person is connected with the appropriate resources. Jalikatu is committed to creating a welcoming and compassionate experience for every client during what is often a stressful time in their lives.

Jalikatu earned her Bachelor's degree in Law & Society from the University of Cincinnati, where she also completed a Certificate in International Human Rights. She has been interested in the legal field and becoming an attorney since middle school; her education further strengthened her passion for the law and its ability to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. She looks forward to continuing her legal education by attending law school and pursuing a career advocating for others.

Before joining Abdnour Weiker, Jalikatu spent several years in the customer service and hospitality industry. Transitioning into the legal field has allowed her to combine her commitment to helping others with her interest in the law. She enjoys being one of the first people clients connect with and helping create a positive experience from the very beginning.

Outside of work, Jalikatu enjoys staying active in the gym, discovering new restaurants, spending time with family and friends, and exploring opportunities for personal and professional growth.
